Why trust RightAgent
Most "best AI tools" content is either written by the tool's own marketing team or generated without anyone having actually used the product. Here's exactly how we try to avoid that, and where we still fall short.
We don't take payment for placement
No agent, however large, can pay to rank higher or appear more prominently in a category. Every ranking position is earned through upvotes and reviews from real users, full stop.
Rankings are driven by the community, not by us
Position in every category and leaderboard is calculated from upvote counts and review scores. We don't hand-curate lists or manually promote listings behind the scenes.
Reviews come from two independent signals
Every listing carries human reviews from people who've actually used the tool, plus an AI-generated quality score evaluated against the same rubric for every submission. Neither signal is influenced by the other.
Listings show when they were last verified
Pricing and details on AI tools change constantly. Every agent page shows the date it was last reviewed or updated, so you can judge for yourself how current the information is.
Ownership and credit are kept separate and permanent
Whoever first submits an agent keeps that credit permanently, even if the actual builder later claims verified ownership of the listing. Nobody's contribution gets erased.
Anyone can report a listing
If a listing looks fake, misleading, or abandoned, any signed-in user can flag it for review. Reports go to a human moderator, not an automated filter.
What we don't claim
We don't independently audit every stat vendors publish. When a listing mentions a resolution rate, accuracy figure, or performance number, that's typically sourced from the vendor's own reporting unless a listing says otherwise. We treat these as a starting point for your own evaluation, not a guarantee.
Community ratings can be gamed, in theory. We run abuse detection on voting patterns and act on reports, but no community-driven system is completely immune to coordinated manipulation. If something looks off, report it.
We're a small, early-stage directory. Coverage is not exhaustive yet. If an agent you use isn't listed, that's a gap in our catalogue, not a judgment on the tool.
