Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, who sees it, and the choices you have. We keep it to what the site actually does.

Introduction
RightAgent ("we", "us") runs the RightAgent platform at rightagent.ai. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information. By using RightAgent you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email, username and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email and profile picture from them.
- Profile information: the bio, website, LinkedIn link and avatar you choose to add. If you connect X, we store your X handle and X's account ID. We never see your X password and never post for you.
- Location (optional): if you opt in to the Builder Map, your city and country, shown at city level only. It is off by default and you can turn it off or remove it at any time.
- Content: agents you submit, reviews, comments, votes, reports, claims and test requests.
- Usage data: pages visited and features used, from server logs and, with your consent, analytics. We also record when you last signed in or were last active.
- Device identifier: logged-out visitors get an anonymous device cookie so a vote or view is counted once. It holds a random ID, not your identity.
- Communications: your email and messages if you contact us or subscribe to the newsletter.
How we use your information
- To run and improve RightAgent and show you relevant agents
- To sign you in and keep your account secure
- To send transactional emails, such as verification and password reset
- To send notifications and the weekly digest you subscribed to. Each email has an unsubscribe link, and you can change preferences in Settings.
- To calculate reputation points, badges and rankings
- To review submissions for quality, and to detect spam, abuse and fraud
- To meet legal obligations
AI features
Agent Finder questions, listing quality checks, review summaries and autofill from a website are processed by an AI provider (Groq). We send only the text needed for the task, such as your question or the public text of a page you gave us, and not your account details.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it. Anonymised, aggregated data may be kept.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Object to or limit how we use it
- Receive your data in a portable form
- Withdraw consent at any time
You can edit your profile, disconnect X, leave the Builder Map and change email preferences in Settings. For anything else, email contact@rightagent.ai.
Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, rate limiting and access controls on our cloud infrastructure. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Children
RightAgent is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will tell you about significant changes by email or with a notice on the site. Using RightAgent after a change means you accept it.
