How agents get into a kit

To qualify for a step, an agent must

• Be a live RightAgent listing.
• Have been verified by our team in the last 90 days.
• Have its free tier, pricing and platforms filled in.
• Have been approved by our team for that step.

How agents are ordered within a step

• The Recommended agent comes first, then the alternatives in the order our team sets, then any Rising agent.
• Once enough people have used a kit (at least 20 answers on a step), alternatives will be reordered by how often people said they helped.
• If two agents are still level, the one verified more recently comes first.
• Our team can promote an alternative to Recommended when a kit is reviewed. Every change is written under “What changed” on the kit.

Rising agents

Each month our team can pick one newer agent per step to watch. It is always labelled Rising, and a step never has more than one.

What we check, and what happens next

We flag an agent for a look, and never remove one automatically, when:

• It has not been verified for over 90 days.
• Its pricing or free tier changed.
• It went offline.
• Fewer than 40% of people (from 20 answers) say it helped.
